Roberto Soares has extensive experience in Real Estate, Property Registration, Notarial, and Urban Planning Law, working on a wide range of real estate transactions and projects. He advises real estate developers, land subdividers, construction companies, investors, and property owners on project structuring, land tenure regularization, real estate due diligence, real estate developments, subdivisions, condominium regimes, property acquisitions and disposals, registry rectifications, land splitting and merging, and adverse possession (*usucapião*) proceedings.

Throughout his career, he has gained experience analyzing chains of title and addressing liabilities related to property registration and urban planning regulations. He also has experience managing proceedings before real estate registries, notary offices, and municipal, state, and federal government agencies. Furthermore, he is skilled in drafting contracts and devising strategies to prevent and resolve disputes involving urban and rural properties.

He has served on Real Estate and Property Registration Law committees for the OAB/PE (Brazilian Bar Association – Pernambuco Chapter) and worked with the National Real Estate Development Forum (FNDI) in a working group focused on real estate development. He holds a postgraduate degree in Notarial and Property Registration Law and was recognized in 2025 and 2026 as one of the most admired lawyers in the Northeast region by the publication *Análise Advocacia Regional*.
