José Antonio is a founding partner of CGM and concentrates his practice on tax litigation, foreign investment, indirect taxes, and customs law. With a broad roster of domestic and international clients from the most varied sectors, he advises on numerous deals with complex tax impacts, including mergers and acquisitions and international transactions. He coordinates several tax restructurings and acts in the definition of strategic alternatives in administrative and judicial disputes, including oral arguments before higher courts and negotiations with tax authorities to reduce taxes or obtain special tax benefit regimes.
