Paula heads the firm’s environmental law practice and brings 20 years of experience advising domestic and international clients across various industries, including energy, agribusiness, chemicals, automotive, pulp and paper, timber, and consumer goods. She specializes in the strategic handling of legal and administrative proceedings, including civil inquiries initiated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and negotiating Conduct Adjustment Agreements.

Paula has extensive experience in managing complex contamination cases, negotiating timelines, and remediation measures with environmental agencies. She also advises on carbon projects, environmental licensing, native wood exports, waste management, and compliance with the Forestry Code. Her practice includes supporting the implementation and management of sustainability and value chain initiatives for corporations and providing pro bono legal assistance for environmental preservation projects.

She also leads the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.
