Alexei has been working in the energy sector for over 27 years. He specializes in energy, civil, regulatory, administrative and litigation law. He has experience in investment and divestment operations in the energy industry, auctions, structuring, grants, authorizations and project implementation, in complex regulatory issues in renewable and non-renewable energy generation, transmission, distribution, distributed generation and energy trading in the regulated and non-regulated energy market, with extensive experience before Energy Federal Regulator (ANEEL), Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization  (CCEE), Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), Energy Research Office (EPE) and Independent Power Operator (ONS).

President of the Brazilian Association of Electricity Companies – ABCE. President of the São Paulo State Energy Industry Union – Sindienergia. Energy Director and Member of the Infrastructure Council of São Paulo State Industry Federation – FIESP. Member of the Advisory Board of the Energy Research Company – EPE. Member of Infrastructure Council of National Industry Confederation – CNI. Member of the Forum of Electricity Sector Associations – FASE. He was president of the Electricity Sector Environment Forum – FMASE and vice-president of FASE. He has been vice-president and legal director of national and foreign energy companies. Author of books, articles and lecturer on energy issues and regulatory law.
