Alexei has been working in the energy sector for over 27 years. He specializes in energy, civil, regulatory, administrative and litigation law. He has experience in investment and divestment operations in the energy industry, auctions, structuring, grants, authorizations and project implementation, in complex regulatory issues in renewable and non-renewable energy generation, transmission, distribution, distributed generation and energy trading in the regulated and non-regulated energy market, in the transmission, distribution, distributed generation, and marketing of energy in both regulated and deregulated markets, as well as in the natural gas market—particularly in the midstream and downstream sectors, including processing, gathering, transportation, marketing, and distribution—with extensive experience before Energy Federal Regulator (ANEEL), Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization  (CCEE), Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), Energy Research Office (EPE) and Independent Power Operator (ONS).

Energy Director and Member of the Infrastructure Council of São Paulo State Industry Federation – FIESP. Member of the Advisory Board of the Energy Research Company – EPE. He has been vice president and legal director at national and international energy companies. Author of books, articles, and lecturer on energy issues and regulatory law.
